Trailing 1–0 at halftime, the Pirates roared back with goals from Amelia Johnson, who converted a penalty, and Alexis Parscal, who gave PSC a brief lead. Despite dominating the second half, PSC conceded a late equalizer, settling for a 2–2 draw.

The following night, Rose Bowman broke the deadlock after a goalless first half, but once again PSC was denied victory by a last-minute goal from the opposition, ending the match 1–1.

Head Coach Mark Yepishin praised his team's fight:
"All of our goals came in the second half, which shows the fight and adjustments we made coming out of halftime. The late equalizers sting, but these games proved we can compete and finish strong. Now it's about turning these performances into wins."
