Pensacola State Volleyball continued their dominant run in Sun-Lakes Conference play, hosting their second weekend of competition and facing South Florida, Palm Beach, and Indian River. The No. 8-ranked Pirates remain undefeated in the region at 6-0 and hold an overall record of 11-3.
Pensacola State 3, South Florida 0

PSC opened the weekend with a commanding sweep over South Florida. The Pirates posted a .415 hitting percentage, showcasing a well-rounded offensive and defensive effort. Danielle Lee led the charge with eight kills and five block assists, while Reece Varden added seven kills and four blocks. Laila Greene contributed six kills. Freshman libero Addison Danforth anchored the defense with 14 digs and chipped in four assists. Setter Lauren Schuessler kept the offense flowing with 17 assists, one kill, and seven digs. Kendall Judge added two aces and eight assists to maintain momentum.

Palm Beach brought high energy to Hartsell Arena on Saturday, but PSC responded with poise and precision, securing another 3-0 sweep. Catie Woolf and Greene led the offense with 10 kills each, while Lee added eight. The Pirates hit .391 as a team. Judge directed the offense with 20 assists and three aces, and Schuessler added 18 assists. Danforth countered Palm Beach's attack with 12 digs and three aces, while Olivia McDaniel contributed seven digs.
Pensacola State 3, Indian River 1
(25-22, 25-20, 15-25, 25-12)
In the weekend finale, PSC faced a tough challenge from Indian River. After winning the first two sets, the Pirates stumbled in the third due to unforced errors and Indian River's resilience. PSC regrouped in the fourth to close out the match 3-1. Varden starred with 12 kills, four blocks, and three digs. Middle blocker Marisa Beaubien added six kills, three blocks, and three digs. Sophomore outside hitter Maddie Goodwin made a key impact in the second set with six kills and 10 digs. Greene added six kills and four digs. Schuessler recorded 24 assists, 12 digs, and two kills, while Judge contributed 18 assists, seven digs, and three aces. McDaniel led the defense with 14 digs, followed by Danforth with 10.

PSC travels to Panama City Beach tonight to face No. 7 Gulf Coast State at 6:00 p.m. The Pirates will return home next weekend, September 25–27, to host three more Sun-Lakes Conference opponents at Hartsell Arena.
