The Pensacola State College Volleyball team added two more victories to their season last Friday during a road trip to Enterprise State College, facing off against Rock Valley and the host school.
Pensacola State 3, Enterprise State 2
(14-25, 25-20, 16-25, 25-22, 17-15)
The Pirates opened the day with a hard-fought five-set battle against the Enterprise State Bollweevils. After dropping the first set, Pensacola State regrouped and brought stronger energy to the court. Each set was a tug-of-war, but the Pirates ultimately edged out Enterprise in a thrilling fifth set.
Offensively, Catie Woolf led the charge with 12 kills, followed closely by Reece Varden with 11. Laila Greene added 7 kills to the tally. Libero Addison Danforth anchored the defense with 16 digs and four assists, while Olivia McDaniel contributed 10 digs and two aces in key moments. Setter Lauren Schuessler commanded the floor with a standout performance: 36 assists, 10 digs, and three kills.

In their second match of the day, the Pirates swept Rock Valley in straight sets. Pensacola's defense dominated, limiting the Eagles' scoring opportunities. The front line recorded 5.5 blocks, led by Marisa Beaubien with two, while the back row totaled 43 digs, with Woolf again leading with 12.
Schuessler continued her strong play with 31 assists, one ace, and six digs. Top scorers included Woolf (8 kills), Greene (6 kills), and Goodwin (6 kills).
