Volleyball Closes Out Season
The Pensacola State volleyball team closed out their season with an overall 8-6 record and 2-4 conference record.

Throughout the season the Pirates were ranked in the Region 8 Top 10 for six weeks. They ended the season in the number 10 spot.
Freshman middle-hitter Amaya Bazemore was ranked no. 10 in the nation for blocks per set as she averaged 1.98. A big presence in the middle, Bazemore was named First Team All-Conference and recorded 95 kills in the season.
Freshman Kaytie Rutland was named Second Team All-Conference and the powerful outside hitter led the team in kills with 119.
Sophomore middle-hitter, Alex Pierre was also awarded Second Team All-Conference honors and she collected 92 kills on the season.
Freshman Lena Stockhammer rounded out the awards with a Second Team All-Conference nod. The setter tallied 362 assists and had 66 digs over the course of the season.
