Volleyball Sweeps Pearl River

The Pirate volleyball team traveled to Pearl River on Monday and swept them 3-0.

Brook-Lynn Sandford and Madison Fisher had a great attacking night with zero errors. Sandford had a game high six kills in the match.

The offense kept Pearl River on their toes thanks to setter Lindsey Stewart navigating the ball all around to multiple hitters. Nicole Woods anchored the defense with 10 digs.

"Their gym is hard to play in, it's loud and the stands were crowded," said Head Coach Jennie Belarmino. "I am glad everyone on the team contributed and am happy with the road win."

Pensacola State will host Santa Fe on Thursday at 6:00 pm.
