The Pensacola State volleyball team traveled to Gainesville this past weekend for a second round of conference games.
They dropped the first match to Florida State College of Jacksonville 3-0. Baylee Young led the offensive attack with 10 kills while Lauren Raines anchored the defense with nine digs.
The Pirates could never quite get the offense going in the game against Santa Fe and fell 3-0. Young was the leading hitter again with eight kills while the defense saw three players collect double figures in digs: Robyn Krause (12), Young (11) and Olivia Beauchain (10).
The team will host Pensacola Christian on Monday, October 8 at 6:00 pm.
