Gulf Coast responded with a dominant third quarter, putting up 30 points to swing the momentum. Despite the surge, PSC continued to fight and kept the game within reach.
With just under three seconds remaining, Paris Anderson drilled a clutch three-pointer to tie the game at 81–81. Unfortunately, on the ensuing possession, PSC committed a foul, sending a Gulf Coast player to the free-throw line. She converted one shot, securing the narrow win for the Commodores.
Paris Anderson capped off her season with a career night, scoring a season‑high 24 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Cassidy Gladney added 21 points, while Tamya Hutchinson and Nadia Davis each contributed 10.
The Lady Pirates conclude their season with a 15–14 record.
