Cassidy Gladney led the way for PSC with a strong all-around performance, pouring in a game-high 24 points while adding three assists and two steals. Gladney consistently attacked the basket and kept the Lady Pirates within striking distance throughout the contest.
Off the bench, Kiya Newson provided an important spark on the boards, leading PSC with five rebounds. Her energy helped the Lady Pirates control stretches of play, especially in the paint, where PSC was particularly effective. Pensacola State scored 28 points in the paint, showcasing its physicality and ability to finish inside.
Defensively, the Lady Pirates were disruptive, forcing Tallahassee into 14 turnovers while committing just seven of their own. That defensive pressure translated into extra possessions and helped PSC stay competitive despite the final margin.
