The Lady Pirates were led by a balanced scoring attack, with three players reaching double figures. Cassidy Gladney paced PSC with 18 points, consistently providing offense when the team needed a boost. Tamya Hutchinson had a standout effort with 15 points and 10 rebounds, recording a double-double while anchoring the Lady Pirates in the paint. Amari Johnson also contributed eleven points, giving Pensacola State solid production across the lineup.
PSC dominated the glass throughout the game, with Brooke Jackson narrowly missing a double-double, finishing with eight points and 11 rebounds. Paris Anderson added nine points and three assists, helping steady the offense and create opportunities for her teammates.
Defense proved to be the difference for the Pirates. Pensacola State forced 20 Tallahassee turnovers and limited scoring chances by staying disciplined and active. The Lady Pirates also kept Tallahassee off the free-throw line, surrendering just seven attempts for the game.
On offense, Pensacola capitalized from the charity stripe, converting 12-of-18 free throws to help maintain control in key moments and close out the contest.
