PSC Dominates Enterprise, Edges Eastern Florida

The Pensacola State College women's basketball team showcased resilience and firepower over the weekend, playing with just six athletes yet delivering two impressive performances.

PSC 118 Enterprise 20

The Lady Pirates recorded their largest margin of victory this season, dismantling Enterprise 118–20. Defense set the tone early as PSC held Enterprise to just 20% shooting from the field and forced a staggering 49 turnovers. Offensively, five of the six players finished in double figures, with Cassidy Gladney leading the charge. Gladney posted a game-high 33 points and 7 assists, orchestrating a relentless attack that Enterprise simply couldn't contain.

PSC 56 Eastern Florida 49

The second matchup proved more competitive. Pensacola forced 20 turnovers and leaned on balanced scoring to secure the win. Amari Johnson (13 points) and Cassidy Gladney (12 points) contributed key buckets, while Tamya Hutchinson delivered a dominant double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Eastern Florida mounted a late surge, trimming the deficit to five with under a minute remaining. However, a clutch offensive rebound and two critical free throws sealed the victory for PSC.

Despite a short bench, PSC's grit and execution carried them through the weekend, improving their record and proving that determination can overcome adversity.
