Pensacola found themselves trailing 33-24 at halftime before having an offensive spurt in the third quarter. They put up 22 points in the quarter to cut the deficit to two points.
Down the stretch PSC got themselves to the basket, often drawing fouls but could not capitalize on the free throw line.
