The Lady Pirates battled with Chipola on Wednesday night and came up short losing 69-54.
The teams went back and forth in the first half and Pensacola State was only down by two at halftime. Unfortunately the shots would not fall in the fourth quarter for the Lady Pirates and the Indians slowly pulled away.
Kaiya Burnett was the high scorer for PSC with 13 points while Anita Payne chipped in 10. Xerina Walker was the leading rebounder with 11 on the night while also scoring eight points.
Pensacola State will travel to Northwest Florida on Saturday, February 9th for a 5:30 pm tip-off.
