Bio
Eddie Lopez is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Pensacola State Men’s Basketball program after being hired by coach Pete Pena in June.
Lopez spent the previous two seasons at the University at Buffalo as a graduate assistant. At Buffalo his duties included recruiting, analytics, video breakdown and player development.
Before Buffalo, Coach Lopez spent three seasons as a student manager (one year as head manager) where the duties included recruiting, video breakdown, player development, overlooked gear and equipment, and assisted with all day-to-day operations.
Lopez started his basketball coaching career by spending one year as a student manager at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2019.
