Pirates Topped by Gulf Coast

The Pirates second half comeback came up short at Gulf Coast on Saturday and Pensacola fell 93-88.

Pensacola outscored the Commodores in the second half 50-45 but it was not enough.

Jalen Keago led the Pirates with 21 points while Roderick Coffee III added 19 points. Four out of five starters scored double digits with Zondrick Garrett recording 12 and Jarveil Gainey chipping in 10. Garrett was the top rebounder with eight.

Pensacola will host Tallahassee on Wednesday, February 1st with tip off scheduled for 7:30 pm.
