On Saturday, the Pirates went down the road to Niceville to take on the no. 4 ranked Northwest Florida State Raiders.
Despite putting up a tough fight, Pensacola lost by a score of 65-54. Regardless of having the games two leading scorers and shooting a better percentage then their opponent, Pensacola could not overcome Northwest's length, skill, and athleticism.
Truth Harris led the way with 18 points, shooting 7-for-13 in the game. Zondrick Garrett added 13 points and seven rebounds, while Justin Moore chipped in 10 points.
The Raiders Shammah Scott, Brennan Rigsby, Deshawndre Washington, Tre Clark and Kam Woods all finished in double figures.
The Pirates have a bye this Wednesday and will hit the road again Saturday, January 23rd to Panama City to take on Gulf Coast State College.
