Pirates Collect Fourth Straight Win

The Pirates secured their fourth straight win with a 72-54 victory over Coastal Alabama-North on Tuesday.

Another strong start helped the Pirates go into halftime with a comfortable lead of 40-27. They were able to extend that lead in the second half and finish the game with an 18-point win.

The Pirates shot 51.1% from the field and had four players finish in double digits. Zondrick Garrett led the way with 19 points, five rebounds, and an impressive five blocks. Naim Miller finished with 17 points, going 4-for-6 from the 3-point line, with four rebounds, and three steals.

Truth Harris and Tre Valeriano each finished with 11 points.

The Pirates will host their Thanksgiving Classic at Hartsell Arena next week with three tough opponents. They open on Monday, November 22nd with Odessa College at 7:00 pm, followed by Lamar State Tuesday, November 23rd at 7:00 pm, and then finishing against Southern Arkansas Tech on November 24th at 3:00 pm.
