Five Pirates Named to Panhandle All-Conference Team

The Pensacola State volleyball team placed a total of five players on the All-Panhandle Conference team. Sophomore Y'tae Cobb and freshman Elizabeth Thompson were named to the First-team while sophomore Bailey Powell, freshman Zadie Engelberger and freshman Bentley Odom made the Second-team. 

Cobb is a 5'9 outside hitter who led the team in kills with 218 on the season. Thompson is a 6'0 middle hitter who collected 153 kills and a team high 73 total blocks on the year. Powell is a 5'9 outside hitter who was second on the team in kills with 181 while also picking up 60 digs. Engelberger is a 5'9 outside hitter who collected 114 kills and was second on the team in digs with 78. Odom is a 6'3 middle hitter that tallied 108 kills and 47 total blocks on the season. 

"I'm really proud of these young ladies accomplishments," said Head Coach Chris Laird. "Their hard work and dedication to this program shines through in their All-Conference selctions."
