    The Pensacola State volleyball team placed a total of five players on the All-Panhandle Conference team.
  • Pirates Fall to Santa Fe in Playoff Game

    The Pensacola State volleyball team fell to number two seed Santa Fe in the play in game for the final spot in the Florida State tournament.
  • Volleyball Finishes Regular Season Play

    The Pirate volleyball team capped off regular season play this past weekend with their final conference game versus St. Johns River State and then a Tri-match with Palm Beach State and College of Central Florida.
  • Volleyball Takes Down Gulf Coast

    The Pirates started slow on Wednesday night against Gulf Coast, but bounced back to secure the 3-1 (25-27, 25-15, 25-12, 25-12) win. The Commodores needed extra points to win the first set, but after that the Pirates locked in and were able to play their game and remain in control the rest of the match. 
  • Volleyball Gets Big Win on Sophomore Day

    The Pirate volleyball team defeated Florida State College at Jacksonville 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-17) on Saturday at home.
  • Volleyball Has Successful Weekend

    The Pirate volleyball team picked up three wins over the weekend to move their record to 9-6 on the season. Every available Pirate player received necessary playing time and the team was able to get quality work in on specific in match situations.
  • Pirate Volleyball Picks Up Two Conference Wins

    The PSC Volleyball team picked up it's first conference win last week when they hosted Gulf Coast State College. The Pirates jumped out early and took the first two sets in the match (25-22, 25-21). They dropped a hard fought third set 22-25 before they bounced back and locked up the victory with a 25-17 win of the fourth set. Bailey Powell led all hitters with 20 kills while Ytae Cobb contributed 16 kills. Baylee Young helped anchor the defense while collecting eight digs in the match.
  • Volleyball Completes Tough Road Trip

    It was as tough weekend for Pirate volleyball as they traveled to Gainesville to face Santa Fe before heading to Jacksonville to compete against Florida State College of Jacksonville and Johnson County Community College (Kansas). The Pirates dropped a tough 3-1 (17-25, 13-25, 25-16, 18-25) decision to Santa Fe. Ytae Cobb led the Pirate hitters with seven kills and Allison von Brock anchored the defense with 15 digs in the game.
  • Volleyball Holds Pirate Invitational

    The Pensacola State volleyball team welcomed Pasco-Hernanado State, Daytona State, Gulf Coast State and the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota to Pensacola this past weekend for the Pirate Invitational. It was a tough weekend of games and the Pirates finished the weekend without winning a match. 
  • Pirates Defeat University of Mobile - JV

    The Pirates recorded a victory last night against the University of Mobile - JV team. The match was over in four sets (23-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-22) and the Pirates record improved to 2-3.
  • Sophomores Lead the Way

    The Pensacola State College Pirate Volleyball kicks off the 2017 season against Coast Alabama – Brewton, formerly Jeff Davis Community College next Tuesday. The Pirates have been working hard since August 1st when preseason officially started.
  • Volleyball Takes On UWF

    PSC Volleyball was hosted by the University of West Florida Argonauts on Sunday in a friendly crosstown scrimmage. Coach Chris Laird used many lineups and rotations for the purpose of getting everyone ready for the season. The Pirates were very excited to get out on the court and face a quality opponent.

    On Tuesday, the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) released its NJCAA Region 8 Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll for the upcoming 2017 season.
