Justin Wrights enters his third season with the Pirates Men’s Basketball team. He graduated from Pace High School in 2009. On the court he was named to the All-Area and All-State teams both his junior and senior year. During his senior year, he led the Patriots to a district championship. After graduating from Pace, Wright signed with Pensacola State College. As a freshman he was named to the 2nd Team All-Panhandle Conference team and in his sophomore year he was named to the 1st Team All-Panhandle Conference team. After graduating from PSC Wright signed to play at Troy University. As a junior he averaged 10.5 points per game and was a preseason All-Conference member going into his senior season. Unfortunately, two major knee injuries derailed his senior season. Wright graduated from Troy in the Spring of 2014. He then attended University of West Alabama as a graduate student and played both football and basketball. He finished the season as an All-Conference player also helping the Tigers to the most single season wins in school history.
