Pensacola State (14-10, 3-4) travelled to Chipola College (16-6, 4-3) and took down the Indians 71-61. PSC trailed by 8 at halftime, but came out hot in the second half to put the game away. PSC showed its toughness in a second half that had 7 lead changes. The Pirates took a 12 point lead with 2:10 left and controlled the ball from then on. Carlos Rosario led with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks and a steal. Yiekson Montero broke out with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Gerald Williams had 16 points and Willesley Butler added 10. Chipola was led by TJ Howard with 20 points and CJ Williamson with 10.
Pensacola will host Tallahassee on Saturday, Feb. 7.
