Pensacola State College struggled to get their offense going on Friday, getting easily dispatched by Enterprise State Community College, 8-2. The Pirates jumped out to a 2-0 lead on a Griffin Rivers 2-run homerun. It was the freshman's first homerun of the season. PSC had ooportunites for more runs throughout the game but left 12 runners on base.
Evan Floyd got the start for PSC. He allowed six hits and four runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking one. Aaron Ginn and Louis Davenport entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and two-thirds innings and one and two-thirds innings respectively.
PSC tallied seven hits in the game. Richard Sorrenti and Graham Dvorak all managed multiple hits. The Pirates fall to 2-5 on the season and look to get on track with a double header against State Fair College on Saturday.
