Bill Hamilton Recognized for ABCA Lifetime Achievement Award

Pensacola State Athletic Director, Bill Hamilton, was recognized as a Lifetime Member at this year's American Baseball Coaches Association Convention in Nashville. The ABCA's Lifetime Member award is given to coaches who have been members of the organization for 35 consecutive years. In the 76 years of the ABCA Convention, only 440 have received a Lifetime Member's Award. There are over 12,000 current members in the American Baseball Coaches Association.

Coach Hamilton spent 26 years coaching at the collegiate level with the last 20 as the Head Coach at Pensacola State. His overall record stands at 703 wins and 468 losses. Hamilton was inducted into the NJCAA Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame in Grand Junction, Colorado in May of 2010 and the Pensacola Sports Association's Hall of Fame later that same year. In 2017, Huntington College enshrined him as a member of his beloved alma mater's Athletic Hall of Fame and just last year was inducted into the Florida State College Activities Associations' Hall of Fame.
