Pensacola State had a big turnout for it's 9th Annual Pars for Pirates last week. Despite being rescheduled due to weather earlier in the month there were more than 20 teams that hit the course at Marcus Pointe Golf Club for the 1:00 pm shotgun start.
Prior to the round of golf there were many pre-play contests to challenge everyone and keep them busy. Golfers were also treated to a grilled lunch courtesy of Miller's Ale House.
Teams participating were made up of local businesses, some PSC Athletics staff, PSC Boosters and several former Pirates.
While there was a short rain delay in the afternoon everyone was able to enjoy the loaded chip bar supplied by Moe's Southwest Grill.
At the conclusion of play the teams were able to check out the score board and were treated to dinner by Buffalo Wild Wings.
Each golfer went home with a door prize and many received items from the raffle drawing at the end of the evening.
Pensacola State would like to say a huge thank you to all the participants and supporters who helped make the tournament a huge success.
