Andrew Tucker grew up in Gulf Breeze, Florida and graduated from Gulf Breeze High School in 1991. His accomplishments in athletics lead him to play football at the junior college, and division II levels where he finished his collegiate career at the University of West Alabama.

After college, Tucker competed for the US National Bobsled Team from 1995-2002. He competed in World Cup, America’s Cup, and Europa Cup races all over Europe and Canada. At the end of his career he was apart of the delegation and forerunner for the USA Olympic Team at the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah.

After retiring from the USA Bobsled Team, Tucker finished his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Troy University and received a masters degree in Sports Medicine from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama. He has been a certified personal trainer since 2003 and received his Crossfit level 1 certification in 2009. He is currently on the board of directors for the Arthritis Foundation Northwest Florida region and a consultant for the Greater Pensacola Aquatic Club (GPAC). He is the strength and conditioning coach for the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHC). He is also the strength and conditioninng coach for the Pensacola State College baseball team.
